Council on Aging

  • Flower Arranging
We love our flower arranging class with Tom!
The Council on Aging provides programs and services to the age 60+ population and caregivers including nutrition, transportation, social and educational programs, information and referral services, elder protection programs, volunteer opportunities, wellness programs, support services and outreach.

The Council's major responsibilities include setting local policy for the administration of elder programs and services, serving as elder advocates and educating the community at large about the needs and resources affecting the lives of Seniors.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides Seniors with needed nutrition and human contact. Every visit comes with a nutritious meal created to address the specific health conditions of the senior, a safety check around the house and an assessment of any changes that might impact future medical needs.
