For Abutter’s List – Abutter's lists can be requested and paid for online. Click on "Request and Pay Online" at left . During this pandemic, we will email the abutter’s list to you or you can make an appointment to pick up.
For Motor Vehicle Abatements – Please download Form 126-MVE from “Forms & Documents” on the left. Required documentation is listed on the form. A motor vehicle abatement application cannot be processed without the required documentation. We can receive your application by either of the following:

Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Bills - Fourth Quarter Tax Bills will be mailed on March 31, 2021 and are due May 3. The Fiscal Year 2021 tax bills are based on the assessment date of January 1, 2020, prior to the COVID pandemic. Please direct any concerns about your tax bill to the Treasurer/Collector's office at 978-887-1511.
Valuations are generally based on the preceding calendar year's sales. The assessment date is for the fiscal year commencing July 1st and ending June 30th of the following year. If an owner is dissatisfied with his or her assessment, he or she may appeal to the Board of Assessors. If still aggrieved, an appeal may be made to the State Appellate Tax Board.
