Perkins Landing 40B Project has submitted a Modification of Project Eligibility Application to Massachusetts Housing Authority and the Town of Topsfield. MassHousing has approved a 30-day period in which the Town can gather comments and send to the state.

On October 4, 2018, the Town received notice from the Massachusetts Housing Authority regarding a "40B" application proposed for "Perkins Landing" at 57 Perkins Row.
The Town has 30 days to respond to the State with any comments. Currently, Town Departments, Boards/Committees and residents may review the Application and submit letters to the Town for consideration by the State as they review the proposed development. The Town has received an extension until November 20th to submit comments.

After the Town submits a letter of response and all written comments to the State, MassHousing will determine whether or not to issue a "Letter of Eligibility." If so, the Applicant will be required to prepare a fully developed set of plans and submit a comprehensive permit application to the Topsfield Zoning Board of Appeals.
