Housing Authority
The Topsfield Housing Authority was created under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 121B Section 26. The THA consists of five members who oversee the town department administered by an Executive Director. Four of the Housing Authority board members are elected by Town residents and one is appointed by the Governor. Each member serves for a term of five years. The Topsfield Housing Authority offers affordable housing to 60-plus senior and disabled people at Little Brook Village, 69 Washington Street, Topsfield, MA.

The Topsfield Housing Authority is a local state agency managed by an Executive Director and overseen by an elected board, the Housing Authority.
The Topsfield Housing Authority administers Little Brook Village, the housing complex at 69 Washington Street, Topsfield, MA. Little Brook Village includes 55 apartments for the elderly/disabled and 5 specifically modified units for people with physical handicaps.All units have one bedroom, living room and kitchen. The maximum occupancy of each apartment is two people.
Little Brook Village is a warm, congenial setting that offers a variety of activities including: an art group, Visiting Nurse services, game nights, tenant coffee hours, a knitting circle, etc. Each tenant/couple has a three room apartment. The Community Center hosts a large function room, kitchen, laundry facilities and administrative offices. Little Brook Village is closely associated with the Council on Aging, which provides both activities and transportation to many of Topsfield's elder residents.
