Recently Refurbished Fog Bell Striker On Display in the Public Hall

The recently refurbished fog bell striker is now on display in the Public Hall of Topsfield Town Hall.  Remarkably, it once was located in the belfry of the Congregational Church Meetinghouse.  The Stevens Clock mechanism in the historic clock tower of Town Hall was connected to the bell striker and powered it to ring the Church's Paul Revere bell on the hour.
