Free Folk Music Concert Featuring Crowes Pasture

About Crowes Pasture
Event Date:
Thursday, April 7, 2022 - 4:00pm

A free family friendly event on Thursday April 7th at 4:00pm in the public hall of Topsfield Town Hall.

The Council On Aging presents a concert by Crowes Pasture, a roots-infused, contemporary folk duo. Topsfield residents Monique Byrne and Andy Rogovin ("Crowes Pasture") perform original music and eye-opening covers that reflect a mutual passion, sense of discovery and celebration of life. The romantic clawhammer banjo playing by Monique and expressive guitar picking by Andy are enlivened by their personal chemistry and intimate harmonies. Nominated for an International Acoustic Music Award (Best Group/Duo Finalist, 2020), a Boston Music Award (Americana Artist of the Year, 2019) and a New England Music Award (Roots Act of the Year, 2019), the duo has had seven songs in the Top Ten of the International Folk DJ Charts over the last four years, including the duo's 2019 single, "Slow It Down," which reached #1.

All are welcome to attend.
