2022 Election Information

All registered voters qualify to vote by mail in both fall elections in 2022. Around July 15th, a post card application will be mailed to all registered voters, at their mailing address, who have not already applied to receive a vote-by-mail ballot 60 days prior to the election. Applications can be returned via U.S. Mail (postage is pre-paid on the postcard application), or deposited in the drop box at the front entrance of Town Hall.

PRIMARY ELECTION INFORMATION
- A voter who is NOT registered in a political party must specify the party ballot choice on the application to vote by mail or in person voting (early or on election day).
- The Town Clerk's Office is unable to process application for Unenrolled (commonly know as Independent) voters who do not select a party ballot choice on their application.
- Unenrolled voters who select a party ballot for the Primary do not become registered in that party - they remain Unenrolled (Independent) voters.
- Voters who are registered in one of the 2 political parties (Democrat or Republican) MUST take that party ballot and are not given a choice of ballot.
