The Topsfield Historical Society will be hosting a local history program this Sunday, January 12th at 3:00pm. Join them at the Gould Barn at 1 Howlett St., Topsfield to learn about Massachusetts's response to the famous Halifax explosion in 1917. Topsfield resident David Read, whose grandparents lived in Nova Scotia at the time of the explosion, will lead this slideshow presentation. No registration is required, and refreshments will be served.
