Speaking of TED is a casual discussion group led by two seasoned educators. Participants gather on Friday mornings mid-September through mid-May in the COA Programming Room to select TED talks to view and discuss for about one hour.
According to the Google description, "A TED talk is a video created from a presentation at the main TED (technology, entertainment, design) conference or one of its many satellite events around the world. TED talks are limited to a maximum length of 18 minutes but may be on any topic."
Like our weekly Coffee & Conversations and our monthly Book Club gatherings, Speaking of TED attracts the most curious among us. These engaging sessions are always sure to generate interesting discussions around the dinner table!
